Promoting health and wellbeing: creating a more equitable and sustainable environment

THe 24th NUI Galway Annual Health Promotion Conference will be hosted by Health Promotion at NUI Galway Health Promotion Research Centre in collaboration with the Department of Health, Health Service Executive and the Association for Health Promotion Ireland. It targets researchers, practitioners and policymakers from around the world that are engaged in work integrating issues on how to create a more equitable and sustainable environment for  health and wellbeing. The conference will address research and key developments across ecological determinants of health, health equities and wellbeing in relation to environmental sustainability, as well as climate adaptation, liveable healthy space and place, and equitable governance structures for promoting a more equitable and sustainable environment for health and wellbeing.

As the 2020 conference is be changed from a person to person to an online event the fee has been reduced to 25 euros with a student or unemployed rate of 10 euros.
