Promoting and recognising commitment to an implementation of good practice within organisations.
Systems designed to accredit good practice in Workplace Health Promotion can play an important role in promoting the adoption of best practice, provide a practical framework which those working in the field, and can capture the impact of measures taken over.
FUNCTIONS
Developing training, tools and resources to support organisations in achieving the EQSWH. |
To develop and support the infrastructure required for the delivery of a European Quality Standard for Workplace Health (EQSWH). |
To promote directly, and lobby for the support of governmental entities and professional/business organisations in promoting, the engagement of employers in a EQSWH and national and/or regional good practice accreditation schemes. |
To engage with national and/or regional workplace health accreditation schemes to support the development of best practice and seek opportunities for collaboration. |
ACTIVITIES
Designing, maintaining and developing a European wide system and associated processes (including e-systems) for the accreditation of good practice in Workplace Health Promotion (EQSWH). |
Developing training, tools and resources to support organisations in achieving the EQSWH. |
Recruiting, training, and maintaining a pool of accreditation experts, deployed and active at both European and national level. |
Informing the design of accreditation systems at national, regional or internal-organisational level. |
Utilising the best available knowledge and evidence in relation to accreditation systems and good practice in Workplace Health promotion. |
Marketing, disseminating and generally raising awareness of the benefits of Workplace Health Promotion accreditation. |
Effectively engaging with other ENWHP divisions in the pursuit of its activities their activities, especially the research and practice divisions. |
Building a strong network of expertise in relation to the Accreditation of Workplace Heath Promotion |
