Comprehensive Workplace Health Promotion - An Innovative Strategy of Company Health and Productivity Management

The 48th World Health Assembly and the WHO-EURO 3rd ministerial conference, 1999, stipulated that WHP is a corporate strategy complementary to occupational health crucial for prosperity and the cut-down of social spending. The multidisciplinary WHP needs a variety of professionals, incl. human resource managers, and is oriented to work conditions, job stress, life- and work-style health determinants, using employees´ health assessment tools to assist individuals or groups in behavioural modification and promotion of mental and behavioural health.
